ITV plc has today announced the conditional sale of its 100% shareholding in Friends Reunited Holdings Limited (”Friends Reunited”) to Brightsolid Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of D.C. Thomson Limited) for a total cash consideration of £25m payable on completion. The transaction is subject to approval by the competition authorities.

Credit Suisse acted as exclusive financial adviser to ITV plc in relation to this transaction.
