High standards of employment practices are even more important during times of business changes, especially when this results in roles being made redundant.

We employ 4,026 people, 92% of whom are based in the UK. Our worldwide offices are situated in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Spain, Sweden, and the United States of America. Our headcount has reduced by nearly a quarter since 2008, following redundancies which resulted from the very difficult business conditions. The reduction in our workforce was partially offset by ITV’s 2009 acquisition of the remaining stake in GMTV, which brought 320 people into the company. We also hire freelancers, who form an important part of our team.
