Soccer Aid for UNICEF

ITV is proud to partner with UNICEF for our main fundraising initiative, Soccer Aid. Soccer Aid is the world’s biggest celebrity football match, featuring some of the nation’s favourite celebrities, sporting stars and best-loved football legends.

Beyond broadcasting the football match which encourages viewers to donate, ITV also raises money through celebrity specials of some of our most-loved quiz shows and through employee events. The money raised goes towards helping children who are facing conflict, disasters, and other crises around the world.

Soccer Aid football players celebrate on the pitch at Old Trafford. They are standing in front of a stage with a banner behind them that reads “Soccer Aid for Unicef”. At the front of the football squad is Big Zuu holding up the winning silver plate.

Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC)

ITV is a longstanding supporter of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), creating and broadcasting emergency appeals, including for the floods in Pakistan, the impact of the war in Ukraine and the Turkey-Syria earthquake.

Mentoring

Between 2021 - 2025, ITV partnered with Creative Access on a mentoring scheme which matched ITV colleagues with young people from groups underrepresented in the creative industries to help them develop their careers. 504 mentoring partnerships were achieved overall.

A quote from Creative Access mentee, Akshay. It reads: “Nia provided valuable guidance on everything from my CV to job applications, connected me with people in the industry, helped secure some amazing work experience and grew to be a valued friend”

ITV Academy

ITV Academy inspires and develops generations of diverse and talented teams working in television whilst creating entry level roles into production for all regardless of education or background. In 2025, 65 new entry-level opportunities were created and over 5,000 students were reached with talks and tours.

A diverse group of 24 young people sit close together on the sofa of This Morning, in the studio. They are smiling and posing to camera and some have playful expressions on their faces.
