We are delighted to have been crowned winners of the prestigious GivX Community Value Award for ITV’s commitment to charitable giving,
Using the GivX framework for measuring the value given to communities and good causes, ITV’s total GivX score was £59,058,630, or £14,176 of value per employee. This is made up of professional, skilled and unskilled volunteering, cash and matched giving, employee and customer fundraising and in-kind donations.
Community Value is measured by the replacement cost the charity would have to pay if it were to purchase similar goods or services on the open market.
For the second year running, ITV has also come out top of the Media, Communications & Technology sector, as well as top contributor of In-kind donations.
Winning this year’s GivX award and coming top of our sector is a reflection of our commitment to use the power of ITV to shape culture for good. We’re helping our colleagues and audiences give time, support and money to benefit others, including offering three free days to volunteer.
Other companies featured in the 2019 Top 25 GivX Award report included National Grid, Kellogg’s, British Land and Pernod Ricard. 111 companies took part.
