ITV Social Purpose wins the Third Sector Business Charity Awards 2020

ITV has been awarded winner in the 'CSR Team of the Year' category at the Third Sector Business Charity Awards.

Judges remarked on ITV's ambition and clear vision for Social Purpose, which has been anchored by massive societal impact and a clear evidence programme. The awards showcase the people and teams behind amazing partnerships and their impactful work. Judges award top marks to those they find to be remarkable, committed and having long lasting impact.

ITV's Social Purpose team has created unprecedented change. Shaping culture for good has been placed at the heart of ITV's business strategy, More Than TV, and since January 2019 we have focussed on four priorities: Britain’s health, environment, people and communities. We encouraged 2.8 million people to engage with mental health. We persuaded 1.3 million kids to eat more healthily and get active. We introduced ambitious environmental targets and saw improvements across all categories of diversity. ITV gave £54m of value to good causes, making us the most generous FTSE100 company, including raising a record-breaking £7.9million for Soccer Aid for Unicef.

Previous winners of the 'CSR Team of the Year' category include Co-op, Yorkshire Building Society and Aviva Group. Third Sector is the UK’s leading publication within the charity and voluntary sector.
